I shoot a lot of family sessions in San Diego over the year. The bulk of them tend to be September through November. I always have a few families that wait to schedule their sessions until December and by then I am swamped. Most families are looking for photos they can use on their Christmas cards or to give as gifts to families members and friends. It is great for business, but come January I need a vacation. Something that helps get all my clients photographed in a timely manner is to book mini sessions. If your looking for a great family photographer in San Diego, please give me a call today to book your session!
This year I was hired by an organization called NcMOMS (North County Moms of Multiples) to photograph their families here in San Diego. Because they have so many members we split these winter mini sessions up into three different days all taking place at the Del Dios Park in Escondido. The location gave some room for the kids to run around and play, and for me to photograph the families in their natural element. When photographing a family that is how I like to operate. I like to let the kids be free and capture them how they really are. Lets be honest, do those JcPenny shots where they sit in a room ever really work out? I love to see how the family interacts with each other…hugging and playing together. That is when we get the most genuine moments. Of course I take those traditional family portraits too. Like I mentioned earlier, if you’re looking for a family photographer in San Diego please give me a call or shoot me an email. I have over ten years of experience shooting family photography in San Diego and all the other surrounding cities.
