A little over a year ago, Jenna contacted me asking if I traveled for newborn pictures. I was super excited when I got this email because Jenna babysat me when I was younger and I thought she was pregnant! She said she wasn’t yet, but maybe a couple years or so. She just wanted to make sure she could hire me when the time came since they lived out in Phoenix, AZ. Then a month later I had a dream she was pregnant. I emailed her to ask, but no dice. About a year later I received an email from Jenna asking me to photograph her parents 40th wedding anniversary soiree on a Saturday that I was already booked for with a wedding. She replied with, “well Ryan and I may want to book you for the next day if you are available.” I thought that was super suspicious. So I came right out and asked her if the shoot might possibly be for a maternity session. The answer was….Yes! I am so glad it was! Jenna was small. She was 31 1/2 weeks here with baby Sydney!
