I first met Leila and Raphael at Leila’s brothers wedding in 2009. I was super excited when they told me i was the first thing they booked for their wedding. I had fun getting to know them at their engagement shoot and got a hint of their silly personalities. Leila loves to laugh (who wouldn’t with Rhaphael around)? He is such a jokester! I cant tell if what he is saying is ever true or if he is pulling my leg. Which is why when he said “my album is dropping,” i thought it was another one of his jokes. It wasn’t until their wedding that i actually heard his song and found out he is a legitimate artist whose music was featured on the movie “The Town”, (check out his song featured here). CRAZY!
But back to the wedding….. I was so lucky to have the help of the talented Shannon Cline and Felicia Gwen, two amazing photographers, whom without which i would not have been able to cover the amazing venue that is Saddle Rock Ranch and its some 1000 acres! Thank you to them and their amazing shots! Leila looked absolutely gorgeous! We even did a little bridal boudoir before to calm her nerves about the big day, which will be in a separate post! Rhaphael and Leila saw each other in a First Look before the ceremony, which not only gave us some great photo ops, but it gave them a chance to spend some time together. It was sweet to see how Rhaph dotes on Leila and Leila tries to playfully wrestle with him, without trying to mess up her hair. The night ended with a huge dance party, which included one of Rhaphs songs Jumpin, you can hear it below! Congrats you two!
