If you saw my previous post about the boudoir marathon then you would know before Valentines Days, myself, Brittany, and Bekah the wonderful B3 (sounds like a bad girl band) got together to turn 6 beautiful girls next door into vixen bombshells. We shot in San Diego at a gorgeous beach house, which was staged for the day by Katelyn Groth, who brought her amazing furniture and accessories. Some of the girls came pre-bronzed thanks to Heather Hawthorne with Raving Tans. Bekah (rebekahsalazar93@yahoo.com) styled their sultry locks and the smokey eyes and perfect pouts were created by Brittany! The girls sipped juice and champagne and noshed on snacked while getting primped and pampered for their shoot.
Shooting boudoir in San Diego may be one of my favorite things to shoot. The women feel empowered and are excited about their shoot. I get to make them feel beautiful about themselves. I get excited every time I turn the camera around and show a client a beautiful boudoir image. I see their face light up, “That’s me?” They say. “wow” Some women don’t think they have it in them, but that is what is great about boudoir, it’s bringing that inner beauty out.
The valentines boudoir marathon was so much fun to shoot. Each woman was so different, but they all had this amazing inner beauty that just resonated throughout once we began. Boudoir is always nerve-racking when you begin, what professional photo session isn’t. But by the time each session was over, each one of these girls felt like a pro!
