Baby Cameron came into the studio last week at just 13 days old. I knew before the photoshoot his dad was in the Navy, but I had no idea the cool props he would bring in for little Cameron to be photographed with.

Since today is the 4th of July, I thought what better way to honor the men and women who fought to give us our independence and those who continue to fight for our freedom than by sharing this patriotic session.
As always after my sessions, I post teasers. The photo below is the image I chose to share. I thought it was really unique and not the kind of shot I normally get. I was excited to take full advantage of Shawn’s rescue uniform. I didn’t anticipate this image being shared on a Vets facebook fan page and getting almost 2100 likes and 370 shares! I was truly honored to capture this moment of love between a father, son, and country.

For love of Country….For Love of Family. Here is a beautiful photo sent in by our supporter, Shawn, who is in the Navy, as an Aircrew Combat Search and Rescue Swimmer with HSM-71. Shawn got an opportunity to pose with his son, Cameron, recently. He told us: “It was really cool to be able to have that moment with him, since he’s my first son and I’ve been gone so much.” We salute you, Shawn, for your service and we know that Cameron will look up to his brave Father someday for your dedication in serving our Country!
