Megan and Jarret Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica Wedding

In July I got to do with one of my favorite things…. Travel to a destination wedding. I packed up all my gear, and my husband and headed to Megan and Jarret’s wedding at Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica. Jamaica was beautiful! Such bright vibrant colors on the buildings, lush landscape and the people were amazing. I could see why Megan and Jarret picked this spot to get married. And even though it rained on their wedding day, it couldn’t have been anymore perfect, with 20 of their closest friends and family spending a week in paradise, honoring them. What more could you ask for?

I have to say I fell in love with Megan and Jarret. If these two didn’t live on the East Coast I think we would be fast friends! Just the sweetest couple; the whole time making sure we were comfortable, inviting us out with them at night, their firefighter and nurse aunt and unle, checking on my husband who cracked his head on the boom of a sail boat… the first day we were there! When you are hired to be somewhere, it is so nice to be treated like part of the family as well.

We ended their wedding weekend of festivities the day after the wedding with a trash the dress shoot and Megan and Jarret actually jumped off a pier! Stay tuned for that post to come.

And exciting news, both the wedding day and the trash the dress will be featured on Destination I Do this year! Enjoy!
