Andy Warhol was such an amazing artist. I am sure throughout the years he has inspired many creative minds. Sara Mackenzie Creatives was one of those inspired by Warhol. Inspiration for this shoot came from Warhol’s Campbell Soup cans. It’s so interesting how something so little, such as a can of soup, can spark so much imagination. That was definitely the case for this colorful cooking inspired shoot. Color, Color, Color! This shoot has bright colors everywhere; taking its queue from the pop art soup cans. Poppy Print created all the paper goods for our shoot. Soup cans, some doubled as table numbers and others adorned with cute sayings, small containers filled with spices, menus and fun invitations. Simply Elegant Floral provided fabulous flowers; adorable potted plants, a beautiful and bright bouquet and perfect centerpieces that included both flowers and colorful fruit. My favorite part, a delicious dessert table by The Wicked Spoon, full of colorful desserts! Lets not forget little touches like colored mason jars, bright vases, fun measuring spoons and a perfectly pink kitchenaid! Not to mention the amazing colors and flowers the venue, Villa De Flores has itself! This was such a fun stylized shoot to photograph. I always love getting to work with new San Diego wedding vendors. And sometimes, as an artist, we need to mix in a little play to keep us inspired! It was an honor to have this shoot published multiple times! (Feel free to review on of the features on either, Exquisite Weddings Blog: The Bridal Suite, Ruffled or Urban Style Wedding Network) I am super excited! You can take a look at one of the features or check out the photos below…. Now if only there was behind the scenes during this shoot. You would see us all sweating since it was like 100 degrees on that May day! Props to our models, Traelee and Christian for sticking it out in the heat! A little behind the scenes of the shoot!
