I shoot a lot of families and children in San Diego throughout the year. I love it when the same ones keep coming back to me. It means I am doing something right! Just like this one! I cannot believe Ryder is almost 2! I have been photographing this guy for a while. This is probably his fourth or fifth session. When I first met Ryder he was in his mamas belly at Angie and Kevin’s Maternity session. Photographing their maternity session was nerve racking because Ryder kept wanting to come early and sending his mom into premature labor, causing her to be on bed rest for months. I was so scared every time she would move that she was going to go into labor right then and there! Well, Ryder was ready for his photographic debut because he came out a month early and very tiny! You never know what’s going to happen when you photograph children! We waited another month until he was healthy for his newborn session. He was still a little guy, but awfully cute! The next time I photographed the family, Ryder was 7 months old. It was clear Ryder was a miracle baby! He was strong, happy and very healthy! Not much has changed in a year! As you can tell I love photographing children. It is such a joy to see them like I have seen Ryder. To go from their mamas belly to where they are now. One of my favorite parts as a photographer is seeing my smallest clients grow. I cannot wait to see what this little guy turns in to.
