Jasmine* Workshop…

I have been holding off on this blog post for little while because I couldn’t figure out what to say! Jasmine Star is ridiculous! I was fist introduced to her by my growth group host Cameron, a photography and graphic design enthusiastic who was always showing me the coolest blogs and keeping me up with the best photographers. He works with an awesome company, check them out. So it turns out Jasmine had just had a year or so under her belt and was just starting to get expensive and Cameron’s brother in law and soon to be sister in law feel in love with her work but was to expensive to book her, so they wrote to her explaining their situation and told her how much they loved her work and she took their wedding anyway. With such a big heart how could you not love this girl! I have followed her ever since. Her work is clean, crisp, timeless and fun. She gets things right the first time and doesn’t try anything crazy in photoshop, so when you pass your wedding album down to great grandchildren your photos will still be in style. I have probably been blog stalking her for the past 3 years or so. Her photos are always SO inspiring to me. So a few months ago I told Christian, “I don’t care how much it is, the next workshop Jasmine Star has I am signing up for it!” I saw how much her last one was and I knew it couldn’t be much different! So I signed up for her newsletter under two different emails, just in case I happened to miss one. I got the email a couple weeks after our conversation, I didn’t even read the whole email, I just saw the headline, the date and the paypal link and clicked on it! I started jumping up and down dancing around the house! I was so nervous as it approached! We had started a Facebook group for the 20 people who would be attending the workshop and everyone had gotten to know each other, people where coming from all across the United States and we had two people coming from Australia! I felt crazy blessed to be able to go! And I was just as excited to meet everyone, as I was to meet Jasmine! I told Jasmine I was so nervous to meet her that I might word vomit all over her as well as real vomit!

So the workshop in review: I learned a ton on branding! It was so much fun to shoot with Jasmine and watch her shoot as well! Jasmine was fabulous and super personable. She was SO willing to offer any advice and help in any way! Her husband JD is a SUPER nice guy! I learned to constantly be changing and to never stop growing!

Here are the images I got from our shoot!
