SgrossoSheldonNastriKrohn Family.... that's a mouth full!

My dear friend Rhian, who lives in Canada and whose adorable baby I have photographed before, contacted me about doing a family session with her entire family, including both remarried parents and new siblings. It was difficult trying to get everyone’s schedule coordinated. Rhian was flying out a week early to hang out with her family, her husband was flying out the day of the shoot, her mom lives in Orange County and her brother is a musician who is often traveling. Oh, and i was going to be traveling almost all of August. But she managed to pick one of the three days i was home, between coming home from the South Pacific and heading out to the East Coast for a wedding. But i agreed to because i love her!

My husband Christian was super excited i got to photograph this specific family member. When Christian and i got married and packed up his things from his old house he had these two t-shirts i was desperately trying to throw away. They were shirts he had bought at concerts from years back, shrunk and faded from having been washed so many times. One of those shirts was an As I Lay Dying shirt, which Phil happens to be the guitarist in! The other one was a Norma Jean shirt, which i have since hidden!
