Poor Angie…. We had to cancel our session twice because she went into premature labor. Ryder wasn’t due until May 25th and this poor girl started having her contractions two months early. While Ryder was ready to come out, his organs weren’t fully developed, so they gave Angie medicine to stop the labor. Unfortunately, Angie still would still be having contractions up until the time she gave birth. I couldn’t even begin to imagine the pain she was going through, all day, every day! I mean, I cry and make Christian rub my tummy when I have stomach cramps. But after her two overnighters at the hospital, and with permission from the doctor, Angie and Kevin were able to meet up and get some great shots. I was pretty scared the stairs at my house were going to send her into labor again and she was going to give birth at my house. And with my anxiety, that would not have been a good thing. Luckily, the Lord protected us and we made it through our session without incident. Ryder was actually born April 24th, two weeks after our session. I can’t wait to meet him! I will be taking his newborn photos shortly, but for now… Here is Kevin and Angie….the Pre Ryder Days.
I love these ones from the park. It is nice to be outside because there is so much more room to move around than there is in my studio space. And I just love naturally lit shots, the sun was starting to go down to give some great light.
Ah! I love the light in these! Check out the glow on her hair! ⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓
Then we headed over to a private residence… Thank you Mario, for letting us use your backyard! This awesome backyard overlooks the gorgeous San Pasqual Valley and had these wild mustard seed flowers that went on for at least 200 yards! . ⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓
Isn’t she seriously gorgeous!!! ⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓⇓
This one below may be my favorite shot of the day, although you can barely see the baby bump, it was such a sweet honest moment⇓⇓⇓⇓
